How accurate is an AI meal scan?
AI can provide a useful estimate, but food identification and portion size can be wrong. Calovix lets you review detected foods and adjust grams before saving. For precise dietary or medical needs, use verified nutrition labels or professional guidance.
Can I use Calovix without AI scans?
Yes. Manual logging, custom foods, favourites and other tracking options are designed to remain useful even when you do not scan a meal.
Does Calovix read Samsung Health or Google Fit?
On Android, Calovix uses Health Connect as the interoperability layer. If Samsung Health, Google Fit or another compatible source shares steps/sleep into Health Connect and you grant Calovix permission, those records can be read. Availability depends on the device, Android version and source-app settings.
Does Calovix support Apple Health?
The Android app cannot directly read Apple Health / HealthKit. Native Apple Health support requires a future iOS version of Calovix.
What does Calovix track?
Depending on enabled modules: calories, protein, carbohydrates, fats, fibre, sugars, starch, fat breakdown, hydration, weight, steps, sleep, activity, BMI and progress trends.
What happens if I only want to check a meal?
You can scan or upload a meal, review the estimated calories and nutrition, and leave without saving it to Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Snacks.
Is Calovix a medical app?
No. Calovix is a nutrition and wellness tracking tool and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. BMI and body-composition references are informational; most body-composition values are not actual measurements unless supplied by compatible hardware/data sources.
